WELCOME TO DOW COUNCIL

STEM1.png

Dow council is an organization led by both students and professors dedicated to improving both the environmental and educational learning standards in the Dow community for all students.

This council was started by a group of students who recognized the disparities amongst students of color, economically disadvantaged, LGBTQIA+, first-generation, and other historically marginalized students in Dow when it came to lack of access to resources, lack of inclusivity, and the low retention rates of historically marginalized students in Dow.

Dow council was developed to formulate resources and networks between professors and Dow students. We are focused on inclusivity on all fronts including, but not limited to, race, gender, disabilities, socioeconomic class, and immigration status.
